Yesterday my laptop was totally flat... I mean dead...

After finishing our dinner, I came back to my seat. I was watering my Jasmine which was next to my seat, and I heard again this time much much big noise coming from my computer.

What's going on?!?!?!

I asked to my husband if it was making such noise while I was cooking. He said "No".

Recently I renewed my Norton AntiVirus from 2005 to 2006. I think almost every year at this time of the season I'm renewing it. I haven't had any serious problems so far caused by any viruses, but from time to time I try to scan the whole things. In fact, I don't like this process because it takes me very long time. To complete the whole scanning it probably takes about 6 hours. So, I usually let the computer on and scan while I'm sleeping at night. :)

This time, when I installed the new Norton 2006, I don't remember how it was when I installed 2005 but, it needed to scan the whole things at first to let it sit safely on my computer. I didn't do this, because it takes me long time. And I went back to my work. I was working on my graphics that has relatively big file size. When I was saving the file, my computer started to make very suspicious noise! So, anyhow, I saved the file and try to reboot the computer. Then the computer could not shut down safely. It said it is because of the newly installed software. And, it started to make bigger scary noise!! I immediately turn the power off.

To make the long story short, I rebooted again and it was fine but I had to make Norton 2006 scan the whole files.. I did it. I had to. And it was fine. But it took me almost whole day... After all, I thought it's better to back up the files that I was not using quite often, and eliminate them from my drive to make more blank space. Now, almost half of it is empty. I feel so good and almost all of my files are well preserved again. :)

My sneezing has got so bad that the day before yesterday I finally bought "Benadryl" (Allergy Medicine). So far, it works fine for me.

Since my childhood, I've been suffering from allergy to dust, tick, and cedar pollen. When the pollen starts to fly in the spring time, it triggers my inner body allergy switch on and all the sudden my non-stop-sneezing starts and itchy throat makes me so nuts especially at night..

Now, with this allergy medicine, I feel much better and can rest at night very well. Hope the summer comes to Vancouver soon...

私はこのムービーの写真に写っている子供達を見て始めて、実際にここまで悲惨な原発事故だったのかと思わされました。これまでこういう状況下にある子供達の画像なんていうのはあまり公開されていないので、わからなかった、とは言え、もっと知ろうとしなかった自分がいるように思います。 チェルノブイリ原発事故の詳細はWikipediaに詳しく書いてあります。

■ チェルノブイリの今～自然界動物達の楽園に

以下のムービーはChernobyl Reclaimed: An Animal Takeoverという名のムービーです。今のチェルノブイリの様子が動物達の目線でドキュメンタリーされています。これを見ると如何に自然界は逞しいか良くわかります。今は人間が居ないので、動物達の楽園になっているようです。小鳥達も放射線の少ないエリアを選んでネストを作っているそうです。数が貴重な動物達も天敵の少ないここにやってきて数を少しずつ増やしているようです。こうやって徐々に徐々に浄化されていくのですね。すごいサイクルです。地球の浄化力って凄いです。私達が暮らしていけるように、神さまは全てを用意してくれているようです。それをどのように使うかは、全て私達に委ねられているようです。責任重大です！

ずっとパソコンの前に座りっぱなしなことが多いので、慢性運動不足気味になってしまう。 ついこの間もハニャの息子がハニャに渡すものがあって来ると言うので、部屋を掃除したり夕食を作ったり、 こんなのを一気にやってしまうと、疲労が翌日までたたる。何ていう体力の無さ！これではいけないと思うので、 スイミングにもっと通わないと！と思いつつ、ついつい腰が重たくなってしまう弱い私･･･。 日本で会社に勤めていた頃は、会社から帰ったらエクササイズクラブに行っていて、 それなりに体力をつけていた、あの頃の自分はどこかへ。。 ほんとにどうにかしなきゃだこの体力のなさ！もっとスイミングに行かなきゃ。。
