This year, I haven't had any chance to take any holidays or even weekends, so my husband and I decided to go to Sun Peaks Resort for ski for Christmas vacation.

From our place, it took us about 5 hours via Kokahala hyw to Kamloops resting some time in Hope. I have been to Hope several times, and many times it is always rain and very thick fog. This time, it continued to Kokahala hwy and I was so horrified.. But many cars who were also heading to the same direction, they were so fast even in that kind of situation. I was so amazed that how these people can drive and see forward in such climate with such high speed.. Amazed.

On the way of Kokahala hwy, we went through City Merritt. The scenery was changed so rapidly. Mountains don't have so many trees and for me it looked like semi-desert climate. Lots of dried out grass were there. It's interesting to find such a different climate exists in the same province where we live.
